Start with the exact mask and your fit priorities. Neither a higher LED count nor more modes establishes an efficacy winner.

Two face masks, not two entire brands
Compare the original Illumina LED Face Mask with ReGlow. iRestore’s hair helmets and Laser Face Mask Pro, and Ulike’s IPL handsets, are outside this comparison. A favorable review of another device cannot fill a gap in evidence for these masks.
| Purchase question | iRestore Illumina LED | Ulike ReGlow LED |
|---|---|---|
| What deserves investigation? | Nose opening and cable handling. | Mode selection and eye-cushion fit. |
| Evidence available here | Named gifted-product review plus an unverified owner account. | Named short editorial trial plus an unverified owner follow-up. |
| Written return detail | Illumina RMA request window: days 70–100 from purchase. | Standard guarantee return postage deducted; confirm ReGlow eligibility. |
| What remains unproven? | Fit for you and comparative clinical benefit. | Fit for you and long-term cosmetic results. |

If fit is your biggest worry
Do not buy either mask on a universal “comfortable” label. The Illumina review identifies a specific nose-pressure problem for its tester. The ReGlow review gives a positive padding report from a different person over a short period. Those accounts cannot establish a comfort winner because the faces, conditions and observation periods differ.
Instead, identify what has bothered you in previous glasses, goggles or face wearables. Ask for a close demonstration of that contact area, then confirm how a fit-related return would work. That is a more actionable comparison than combining unrelated star ratings.
If you like a simple routine
List the mode you would actually use and the steps from taking the mask out to putting it away. Compare the instructions for that mode, not the maximum number of settings. A device can be customizable and still be inconvenient if you keep reconsidering the routine.
What does a $100 difference mean?
At 50 completed sessions, a $100 purchase-price difference is $2 per session. At 200 sessions it is $0.50. The same premium can matter differently depending on whether the device becomes part of your routine. Those counts are hypothetical accounting scenarios, not usage guidance or a claim that benefits rise with session count.
Where we would spend the next ten minutes
Read the individual guides for the attributed owner reports, then compare the final device-only totals and return conditions in your own checkout region. If one seller gives a clear written answer to your fit question and the other does not, that evidence can reasonably change your purchase preference. No overall efficacy ranking is supported by this research.
